@rorie Does flagging comments in the chat help at all? or is that more for obvious spam comments? I'm pretty sure you know how the WOW harassment system works and the biggest problem I find with it is that they always say they have to "investigate in the background" and never allow a person to know the outcome of a report. Maybe public shaming that a few websites do with bad twitter comments or posting user names would be a little much, but some feedback might help?
Not sure why everybody is patting themselves on the back or saying that the giantbomb community is actually not that bad. This reflects poorly on every single of one of us that enjoys the site and the content. Trying to deflect the blame to other sites (even though they have a responsibility too) is a cop out.
I might get people angry about what I said, and lord knows I usually don't speak out enough about this type of stuff, but I love this site and the community and hate that all this bullshit lumps the silent majority into the asshole minority.
