I followed most of them since GameSpot, and was with them from the beginning of Giantbomb till now. It was awesome to see how far they came since, and what they've built. Sad to see them go, but so many memories, laughs and content that help me get through the good and bad in my life.
Also glad the website is still going, which definitely is a testament to what they help create.

Ehhh not really. Kylo himself said Rey had more raw potential than him and right before they fight (and when he beats Finn) they kept focusing on the injuries he sustained from Chewie earlier, implying that was also a factor in him losing to Rey.
Also while Kylo did beat Fin, he did take some damage as well. But yeah, Rey probably would have lost if Kylo wasn't hurt. (And not much of a movie for Rey to lose too.)
I think this first one they wanted it to be a nice safe ease back into the series for old and new alike. Not that it's a bad thing and I have high hopes the next one will be more original and do more interesting things. I like most thought Snoke was pretty goofy but he's just a hologram so far, so we'll see what happens. I really enjoyed the three main new characters and liked the chemistry between them. Hopefully we'll get more Poe in the next movies.
