In the end, this is about piracy, PC games get pirated the most and Blizzard is the last guy left in the ring. Emulating a private server is a different world than your typical rip. Of course, it won't stop the most determined but their logic is more people want to play online vs. offline anyway.
If you look at their other games, how many people pirate sc2 and wow vs. those that actually play the game online. The numbers explain themselves but I can trust that Blizzard knows how to do online rpgs fairly competently.
The Witch Doctor will have a different playstyle more akin to a warlock from wow. His pets will do damage and crowd control whilst the Witch Doctor debuffs/damages targets with various spells. I have a feeling Blizzard will eventually bring the missing roles back with subsequent expansions.
@xxNBxx: The outrage that Blizz caved on was having real names used when posting to official forums. Historians mark this moment as when wow forum trolls united with people who don't want anyone to know they play wow.
@SilverBulletKY: I believe it occurs during the last act but you can play it at any point once you've arrived at Kirkwall.
I had a good time playing Legacy mainly because there is a great amount of story packed into 4 hours. It mostly centers around the Hawke family and the Grey Wardens of Kirkwall. The banter and conversations with
were the best I've ever experienced in DA2. Though, If you play on hard I would stray away from this combo if it isn't optimal for your set up. I had a relatively tough time beating this dlc even though I breezed through the normal campaign. There are these mobs called Genlock Alphas that were as hard as some of the bosses in the main campaign and they showed up with every group of mobs.
It's worth a pick up if you really like the story of DA2 or want (some) powerful loot but thats about it.
