Pewter City

Pewter City is a very small city in Kanto region of the Pokemon universe lying inbetween the Viridian Forest and Route 3. While it technically holds the first gym badge trainers can obtain in Pokemon Red/Blue, Yellow, and Fire Red/Leaf Green it is actually the second gym they encounter, the first being Giovanni's gym in Viridian City. The only real points of interest are the gym lead by Brock, the rock type user, and a museum in the northern most part of the town where players can get the old amber item which holds the extinct Aerodactyl later in the game when they return with the HM Cut.
