    Overview

    Olympic Gold is an athletics game that was officially licensed for the Summer Games of 1992, held in Barcelona, Spain. Three different versions were released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Master System and portable Game Gear consoles.

    The game consists of seven separate events for players to compete in, either against the AI or up to four players. The events themselves display a wide range of the different types found in the real life Games, with the 100m, 110m Hurdles, Hammer, Archery, Pole Vault, Platform Diving and 200m Freestyle playable.
