Muton Berserker
An even stronger variant of the Muton species of alien. The Berserker is capable of extreme amounts of damage, but only at melee range.

In addition to the Outsider (Concept), the Berserker is a new unit created for XCOM: Enemy Unknown. This hulking unit is not capable of any ranged attacks, but it's melee attacks are strong enough to make up for that fact. Having little regard for it's own safety, the Berserker will charge at whichever unit damaged him last, effectively placing him in position to launch a melee counterattack on his next turn. He is capable of doing this any number of times during a turn phase. The Berserker is also quite resilient to psionic attacks, and has an inherent resistance to critical hits.
