A Kree warlord named Ultimus has kidnapped superheroes and villains alike from multiple universes, and brainwashed them into serving his ever-expanding army. Now Ultimus has set his sights on "Nexus Earth," and if he conquers it, he could then invade any universe at will. Nick Fury creates his Special Tactical Reserve for Interdimensional Key Events (S.T.R.I.K.E.) Force to rally all remaining superheroes and villains on Nexus Earth to defend the planet, and possibly the multiverse, from the evil of Ultimus, then find a way to free Ultimus brainwashed allies from his control.
Gameplay
Players may select up to 5 characters they own to take into a series of increasingly harder turn-based battles. Most battles will end when one side is completely wiped out, but some may have additional objectives, like protecting an NPC, or neutralizing specific enemies within a set number of turns.
