Main Series: The first game in the series is titled
Lunar: The Silver Star for the
Sega CD. It was later enhanced and expanded as
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete for the
Sony Playstation and
Sega Saturn. A
Game Boy Advance version was also created (with out full-motion video or recorded voice and some visual differences) which was called
Lunar Legend. It was completely remade again with an enhanced translation and newer graphics much more recently as
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for the
Sony PSP. Many people consider the PSP version to be the most complete and definitive version (it also says that on the U.S. PSP version's box).
The second game in the series is titled
Lunar: Eternal Blue for the
Sega CD. This title was also later enhanced and expanded as
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for the
Sony Playstation and
Sega Saturn.
There have been rumors of a "Lunar 3" but there is not much solid information yet.
Spin-offs:
Lunar: Dragon Song was one of the first role-playing games for the
Nintendo DS. It is set 100 years before the main story and uses some of the DS touch screen controls which is new for the series.
