Origins
Cody Rhodes started his wrestling career as a very distinguished amateur wrestler in Georgia. He was trained to be a professional wrestler by his father, Dusty Rhodes, his brother, Goldust, and numerous others including Al Snow.
He made his WWE TV debut in July of 2007 on Monday Night Raw in a backstage segment with his father, "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. He began to feud with Randy Orton before eventually joining his stable, Legacy.
As Intercontinental Champion, he brought back the retro belt with white leather.
In 2013, Cody transformed into a new character known as Stardust in order to help his brother, Goldust, try to capture the tag team championships. Stardust, much like Goldust, wore a black and gold jumpsuit with matching face paint. Later, he would start wearing more vibrant colors and paint. While the Stardust character was an entirely different presentation than that of Cody, it was acknowledge in storyline and by commentary that Stardust was in fact Cody (even though Stardust refused to acknowledge this himself).
Video Games
He made his video game debut in WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2009.
