Climax Entertainment was a Japanese Developer, known for their action-adventure games like Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole and Dark Savior.

Climax was founded in 1990 and got its start developing Sega role playing games like Shining in the Darkness (Game) and Shining Force (Game) along with Camelot Software. While Camelot and Sega would go on to produce more games in the Shining series, Climax would go on to develop the Genesis action RPG Landstalker: The Treasure of King Nole and more games in the Landstalker series. Climax developed several games for the Nintendo DS and PSP, including Steal Princess (Game) and Dinosaur King (Game), but ultimately silently went bankrupt sometime around 2014-2015 without any official announcement.
