@zevvion: I stopped playing destiny cause it was so mmo like when I thought it was just a sci fi shooter. Once I saw blue and purple gear and token exchanges and party queues I was outta there. I did one raid and I found it more enjoyable than wow raids but less mechanics involved i.e. We basically just shot at a huge boss until it died. Yes hardcore raiders think that newer raids have been made easier for more casual players but in truth they were simplified so developers could churn content out faster without having to do so many hot fixes and patches in the first week of that content's release. My problem with raids is you are forced to do them or you miss out on finishing things in the game. I'm kind of a completionist so it's very frustrating and I think a good solution would be an offline mode for raids where you can do it as single player content and it's still challenging but you don't have wait 5 hours for party formation, spec according to guild rules, crafting expensive flasks etc etc.
