FFXIV is definitely a slog, and because of Steam/Mogstation fuckery I slogged through the 1-35 quests twice in a row, and am currently slogging through "oops this is the wrong crystal, go do 5 more quests so you can get the wrong crystal again a few more times!" questlines. And someone told me this was where the story picked up.
I keep seeing people use the word "interesting" to describe going forward with DeadTali, and boy is that the last word I'd use to describe how they account for it in ME3...
@jibbajabbawocky: I would 100% recommend checking out Citadel if nothing else, it's easily the best content in ME3 and feels like the real send-off the characters deserved.
I was on edge for this entire mission, because I completely forgot who is good for which job. That fucking fakeout death got me as bad as Alex.
@reaveybeach:I'm cool with them sticking with this outcome, but I dunno about it being "more fun". Essentially every death here makes for a more boring playthrough of ME3, especially when it's missing out on thousands of lines of dialogue from one of the best characters in the franchise, and one of Alex's favourites to boot. I'm pretty sure most people would have reloaded in his case.
It's always hilarious to hear all the same buzzwords and marketing spiels being used over a decade ago in the exact same ways as they are today. Can't wait to hear them all again at this year's E3!
