Watching this just makes Nathan Drake seem like an absolute murdering psychopath.
No it doesn't, everyone that Drake kills in any of these games is someone who's actively trying to kill him. At no point does he kill anyone who's defenseless or unarmed.
It's not the fact that he's killing hundreds and thousands of people, it's that he's never once shown any remorse for it, and is in fact wisecracking the entire time. It's only really an issue when you stop and look at it in hindsight, though (or when the game tries to address it in 2 with the villain's monologue, and then just kind of... forgets what it's saying halfway through and changes the subject).
When is that? I want to watch the video and I'm probably going to get this but haven't played it yet. I'm fine with some spoilers for this kind of game but would like to avoid having the endings spoiled.
Just skip from 4 mins to 6 mins, should cover that stuff. It's honestly not that bad though, he doesn't spoil the real nature of anything, or the resolutions, or the actual narrative endings. I knew the stuff he was talking about for all of the games before playing them, and it didn't make them a lesser experience for me. Mileage may vary, obviously!
