I think the horizon games are boring and sterile, though the driving is great. TDU was similarly sterile but I'd be excited for what they do with it in 2021
Nothing can substitute exercise, therapy, and a good diet, and maybe medication depending on an evaluation. As somone suffering from depression, games that have lifted me up have been Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Yakuza (funny writing, lots of checklisty things to keep you busy), or heavily narrative focused games like the telltale games or something.
@bigd145: pretty early on you can have self charging launch thrusters, as far as boring I guess that's up to debate, I think the added variables make for some cool places, but it is very much a slow and almost direction less game, that's just what I need right now
Nice, I've been thinking about this for months, glad I didn't pull the trigger. My life is mostly buying games a week before they surprise drop on game pass and lamenting
@humanity: I don't think your problems are gone completely, but they definitely made resources easier to come by, but there are some resources you may need to do several jumps to find. The portals make bouncing between systems easy. My main gripe last time I bounced off was actually glass, and they've made that craftable with the silicate you get from plain old ground now,
Adventure Time is my favorite show of all time, and the HBO specials they've dropped over the past year are all phenomenal. Most of my tattoos are adventure time themed actually. Batman Beyond holds up still, honestly better than BTAS IMO. I can't handle the old stuff like I wish I could, lots of the old Nicktoons stuff is still fine, but not enjoyable to sit down with on purpose as an adult.
