Now that I'm in ME2, all doubts about the quality of these games holding up is gone. It looks FANTASTIC, and the characters and writing are all up a good deal. The removal of loot and replacement with upgrades, giving areas of the Normandy a purpose still feels so great. Skipped a lot of side stuff in 1, gonna 100% 2 though.

People told me to watch The Expanse for years and the damn Fedora on Miller kept me at bay, now it's far and above my favorite sci Fi show ever

I didn't mind any of the shooting, headshots feel great and I only really go for those. I've gotten everything except the mercenaries achievement, which I have to admit defeat on. Loved the vibe of each area so much, thought the bosses were all fun, if not a little easy, and really the environments are what seals the deal. This game is pure atmosphere and I loved every minute with it. Still don't see the love for 7, felt very small and had lame monsters. To each their own

@zephyer: I'm optimistic, but probably wrongly so. I think they should force the tutorial on players, because not understanding the depth (sorry Jan I still enjoyed your upf segment) really shows a much less interesting game.

Got to rank 10, was able to buy the most expensive item in the item shop with in-game currency, tried out a few modes, and I have to say I think I'm going to stick with this for a while. Make sure if you try this to do the tutorials because there are trick shots that absolutely change the game.

More depth than I expected, lots of fun maps and a neat hub area. Definitely getting Splatoon vibes here with lots of fun customization and fast matches. Not sure if I'll stick with it, but a nice breath of fresh air

@cubidog: these games have always been about the story, and even though Witcher 3 is probably my favorite RPG, nothing comes close to ME as far as sci Fi story and world building. I wouldn't say they aged poorly at all, 1 was clunky back in 07 and 3 and 2 play well still.

About 20 hours in now, and I am looking forward to never getting in the mako again. The non conversation based segments as re still rough, but I'm still quite in love. Looking forward to starting 2

Hey, are you okay? Not everybody likes everything sorry this didn't work out for you. It's probably my favorite resident evil. The doll house is annoying on replays but I did enjoy a nice chance to slow down and enjoy some atmosphere. Of course chainsaw go-karts are stupid, but what are you saying about resident evil? Do you think this is always been some type of literary work of art? It's about zombies and shooting shit. Seven was certainly more tense, the dev's intentionally rolled that back to make more of an action-packed 4-esque experience. Maybe the tension is what you liked seven, a good explanation for why you didn't care for this one. But maybe take it down a notch

@frytup: The mako is better but still not perfect. I still prefer having it and being able to have those larger worlds, it felt so odd for the game to become smaller with its sequels as they removed the mako
