Seems accurate though? Many GaaS games have done extremely well, and from what I have read about the game most of the issues come from how that stuff was implemented and not the core gameplay/story.

Definitely not hiding their elder scrolls influence (I guess it's in the name lol). Looks like there is no fall damage so it shouldn't be as frustrating to navigate in an open world with clunky souls controls.

Looks cool, I didn't play there last game so I don't know if that was open world or not, but it will be an interesting combo.

How about we just wait until stuff actually comes out to judge it?

@humanity:lol, yeah it is still pretty fun but I do like SOME challenge. I can play stealth with a blade and just run around and one shot an entire room lol.

I hesitated getting it because of bugs and the critics on the story, but I got in on sale a couple months ago and it's one of the best games I've played. People talked pretty bad about the open world and I think it's great, they talked about the story etc, I like it a lot especially some of the side missions.

The only real critique is that it's too easy, I'm playing with blades and after leveling up I'm pretty invincible at anything at my level or lower.

And this is with never being able to get a steady 60 regardless of settings (i5 6600k gtx 1080) so I just capped it to 45fps. Also using lossless scaling to use FSR to get better upscaling so the game looks pretty damn good on my 4k screen.

Ran into maybe 2 or 3 bugs where my car just randomly exploded down the street, or some enemis get stuck in the air after being beheaded etc. But they are mostly fun skyrim esque bugs (had a character have a rocket launcher stuck in their hand during an entire mission lol).

Most of the ads in game are shitty, but it fits the theme of the game, it's a shitty place to be. Game has way better character moments than I was led to believe by reviews and stuff. I expected a mediocre story with bland open world, and got the opposite. Glad I bought it.

I remember liking their first album a lot, it was wierd and didn't sound like anything I had heard before at the time.(I didn't listen to any rock until I was like 14 or 15).

TBH, They sound like they have fun making music and don't take themselves to seriously, I respect that. They get a lot of hate but critics gonna critique and doers gonna do.

That Dad vibe song is catchy tbh, could see a lot of goofy content made online around something like that.

Seems crazy they've been making the exact same game for 20 years now. I fell off at 3 as it just felt like the same thing, and this still looks like that. As far as graphics, it looks real good but the animations seem stiff still and the particle effects seem last gen.

As long as the fans allow themselves to get fucked like this it will continue. I stopped at beyond light, and I am glad I did. They are now vaulting more content as well, something they are (I think) still charging full price for? Seems like the core fans don't care though, so they will continue to be milked by a pretty shady company. Too bad cause the core game was really good, I put 600+ hours into that thing and bought two expansions (both became worthless after Beyond light and one is getting vaulted ).

I find staying away from the hype and politics surrounding stuff these days I can enjoy stuff like I normally do. Started Cyberpunk on PC with the latest patch and it's incredible, almost as immersive as the witcher 3 was for me. Although I have to play at 45 FPS capped cause I can't get a steady 60fps regardless of resolution, but I don't even notice it since I enjoy it so much. Also could be taking long breaks from games in general helps as well.
