God Jeff hates everything it honestly gets really annoying

There's probably no point in saying that he actually liked both Wolfenstein and Mario Odyssey as recent examples, because at this point this whole bit seems like a) tired trolling or b) posted by people who get unresonably angry when someone doesn't like the same games that they do, because obviously they can't now play and enjoy those game either.

Anyway, that's a shame to hear about the campaign. Even if CoD has done some crazy things in the past, I'd guess it's too much to expect a game series as big as this to get too wild with some of the darker themes of WW2.

Sure looks pretty, if anything.

Problem is, he only complains because this CoD isn't the same as the CoD he enjoyed. This CoD doesn't have jetpacks and wallrunning yadada, whine whine. I'm not a CoD player, but anyone with their eyes and ears open can see that this guy had a point.

So....he's wrong for having preferences? Hate to break this to you, but any fan of a series has aspects they do and do not enjoy, and that translates to when a series goes in a different direction.

It's the same reason why we even went back to WWII to begin with: because a large amount of CoD players were sick of the futuristic stuff. These people were also complaining because CoD wasn't the same CoD they enjoyed, yet you don't seem to have a problem with that.

Also not sure on how the guy saying "Jeff hates everything" has a point because Jeff prefers other CoD games. Those two statements aren't even remotely similar.

Guacamelee 2 is the only thing here I care about.

Spider-Man still refuses to excite me in any way, which sucks for a game about my favorite superhero.

Based on what I've seen, I like this fighting system way more than the previous. Picking the right infinity stone to fit your strategy and switching in your other character at the right time to either capitalize on your combo or outsmart your opponent speaks to me way more than infinite combos that win the match in 30 seconds.

Wow, first GiantBomb vid I watched all the way through :)

Anyway, yeah, seems like more Destiny. I don't know where all these "improvements" are. Seems pretty similar to me.

I just can't get into this series. Uncharted 1 was just ok for me, and I really didn't take to how scripted everything was, with me being punished every time I went off script. So I jumped into the highly praised Uncharted 2 hoping it would show me why everyone loves this series only to find that it was....just ok and everything was still highly scripted, with me being punished every time I went off script.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but I just don't see the appeal in this type of game.

@stanek1: What does that have to do with what I said? It's still the same gameplay as the Amazing Spider-Man games. 2 attached to buildings IIRC.

I came late to this one (long day) but a summary of notable stuff I have seen:

Mario and Rabbids looks pretty cool, though I've never played an XCOM-ish game before. My main concern is the Rabbids, since their brand of humor generally annoys me after a while, but I very well may give this a shot. New Switch games are always welcome, and it frees up space for Nintendo to talk about new things tomorrow.

Far Cry 5 did nothing for me. One of my favorite parts of the bits of Far Cry 3 that I played was how you were basically up against the world by yourself and had to struggle to improve yourself as time went on. Having a bunch of helpers kind of kills the vibe for me. Plus the music was lame.

The Starlink game looks ok. Not sure I'm into the whole figurines approach, but it could be fun.

Beyond Good and Evil 2, as someone who's never played the first....eh. All the needless profanity made it feel really immature and falsely edgy, especially since these are CG animals dropping all these F bombs. I know this is something everyone's hyped for, but I'm really not feeling the attraction. I hear the first one isn't like that though, so I may check that out.

Now to watch Skull and Bones to see what the fuss is about.
