As someone who came from the dark ages of Wii ports, this looks like heaven to me, especially since it's the only way I'll be able to play Witcher 3 without dumping a bunch of cash into new hardware. And beating it will be so much easier on my commutes! Can't wait to pick this up as soon as I play through the first one!
Who is even the audience for this? Are there really people who haven't played DS1 in any form yet and go like "Oh great, this will run perfectly on my Switch."

Never played a Souls game, don't have a PS4 or Xbox One because they took way too long to become worth the cash and even some of the games people are raving over just seem like prettied up or worse versions of games I've already played.
I have to play my copy of Demon's Souls before deciding to get Dark, but if I like it, then a better-running version of the PS3 version, which I hear runs abysmally in some places, would be perfect for my Switch.
You do have a point about handheld being feasible though. If the autosave is as great as people are saying, it shouldn't be a big issue, but I'm wondering if putting it in rest mode is an effective pause for those times when I have to jump off the bus.
EDIT: Just watched further in the vid and it actually is! Nice! Yeah, this is definitely the version I'd pick.
Count me among those who didn't know about the lizards when I first played. I knew when I tackled Hard Mode, but by then I was so into the pace of the game as is that the thought of tracking them down seemed silly.
Also, despite my distaste for this gen's "Remasters on top of remasters with a side of remasters" approach, this game is absolutely fantastic and anyone who hasn't played it yet should totally go for it!
@octocoq: Never played Horizon. Holy crap, that's awful.
It's not, you get enough currency that it's a non issue and I wouldn't let a trivial thing like that turn you off from a terrific game/series.
Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like I was bashing on Horizon. I literally can't play it since I've never owned any of the Xbox family and my brother is selling his 360.
I'm just kind of baffled that a feature that's absolutely free in other games is linked to cash in these modern racing games. Maybe that's the "old" gamer in me talking, but gotta say, not a fan at all.
