@humanity: You don't have to be "indispensable" to give a little push back if you feel you are not being treated fairly. Your boss is a human too. Even if there are other people that want and can do your job it takes effort to find and hire them. I just cannot believe that jobs in game development are so fragile. Maybe they are.

I have a hard time believing anyone worked a 100 hour week. It seemed like the original guy that started this was trying to brag about how hard everyone was working on the game and it blew up on him. But if it is true then I propose, do you not pee in the building toilet because some poor sap has to clean it? Life ain't exactly fair. And have some balls to stand up to your boss. I never took shit. "You think I should stay here and keep working? I am going home I am tired." It is not difficult. They need you too. Can they just replace you so easily?

Disappointment: Into the Breach I still play FTL. I found ItB too easy/methodical and boring because of that.

Surprise: Subnautica I am not a fan of survival games but I am of Sci Fi. I wasn't going to play this so I started watching somebody play through it on youtube. I then played through it twice in a row and I never do that. Honorable mention: AC Odyssey First AC game I made it more than 2 hours into without quitting from boredom. It is currently in my top 3 games for the year.

@merxworx01: Good to know! I am only level 16 yet so I probably have some more chances to do it. It has just been so awkward each time so far. I almost did the delphi sister.

Her face is beautiful to look at in cut scenes! And she wears some really cool armors. I think I usually play the female character in RPGs and 3rd person because I prefer looking at a female for hours. I played Mass Effect123 as male initially and just played it all again (+andromed) as a female and liked it better. And I had sex with everyone as the male Shepard, and no one as the female. Same in Odyssey, I am having sex with no one (so far) as Kassandra. It seems so shoehorned in and unnatural. "Here is the head of your enemy. You're cute, let's fuck!" It seems you can do it with a lot of different NPC, but I hear it just fades to black anyway. Overall Odyssey is wide but not so deep. Give me just a couple sex incidents but make them quality or just leave it out! Same with a lot of the side missions.

I loved the game right from the start, it was 3 in my top 10 from last year. But I didn't finish it. I pick it up now and then and dink around but I still haven't finished it after playing 50 hours. I have no idea how close I am to the end or where I am supposed to go or what it even means to be finished.

In addition to Commandos, check out Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood if you haven't. Also, I just noticed Desperados is on sale on Steam for 0.99 until 08/27. I actually have it on CD.

Edit: According to Steam comments Desparados has been recently updated to work on all modern OS.

@gamer_152: Isn't every score on top of the leader board a cheater score anyway?

I played a couple hours and I am going to dig in today. Initial impression is that it is like a more complicated Invisible Inc.

The way Dan was playing in the QL it didn't look like a very good game. But watching people play on youtube in a purely stealth fashion it looks pretty good. I will play it when it comes on sale for <= $20.
