N64 Goldeneye wasn't very good when it released. I can't imagine it's gotten much better by whatever modern implementation it's getting. And I certainly don't want to pay the Switch online ransom of 70 bones or whatever, just to find out.
God this game rules so hard. But also, the more I read about the grueling pace, the more I remember having the same issues. I still have a ton of nostalgia for it, but at least this persuaded me not to go back and fully ruin that rose-colored image I have. At the cost of being redundant: they should make another one of these (that isn't diseased with modern monetization trappings)
I'm paying $5 per month for Premium. I'm not going to suddenly start paying $5 per month per every Giant Bomb member, past or present. So maybe don't try to promise too much on behalf of the "community".
I can concur with that. When I was premium, which I gladly did until the dumb Discord shift, paying that 40 bucks was a cost I had to justify. And that's per year. I can't do that justification for the current fragmented mess of $5-10 Patreons everywhere per month.
anyway, just wanted to chime in with a 'fuck Fandom' of my own. Just an unbelievably incompetent decision.
I gave Fandom the benefit of the doubt. That stops here.
I just do not understand how you can so deeply misunderstand the cornerstone position that Jason held here. Not to mention that this leaves Jan to do pretty much all the production work. Homie better demand a raise, pronto.
I like Rick and Morty, sometimes more than other times, but Justin Roiland is for sure a person that has always seemed like he leans into the worst of his qualities.
That does also explain why his sister was going around being an entitled clout chaser.
Justin Roiland owns Radical Heights btw. I hope these legal battles make him sell it (though I doubt it, since the show prints money).
@undeadpool: @chaser324: The story is absolutely incredible. I think the first Tomi moment when you see her hanging in a lab is when I went: "Okay, clearly I don't know shit about shit and I need to just settle in for the ride here." Not that the tower defense is not engaging, I'm enjoying that for the most part too.
@mikachops: Yes, please. PLEASE. It's a 2 hour game and it's just a nice story.
I just wanna ride cars and fuck up other cars. It doesn't even need to be competitive/multiplayer or whatever. Just give me another Vigilante 8 with today's tech, PLEASE. We have strayed too far from the (head)light.
