@manburger: That's a bomb 108 take, I didn't know that. I originally mentioned the jump, but by coincidence it's something I did a lil research into while writing and I decided that having adjustable jump height is a good redeeming quality that not many games had. But yeah, the mega jump mega sucks, it always feels like I'm hurling myself off a cliff.
Castlevania II is like at the cusp of the genre dialing it in, I wanna give it credit. It has all the element beginnings, but also playing Simon's Quest is rough. It's very obtuse, even with adjustments. It's brutal to get anywhere in it. There's a reason why every game emulates SOTN and not the NES ones.
@imunbeatable80: Big Double Dragon 2 fans huh. Understandable. I thought I was being *somewhat* moderate, if I'm being honest. Thanks for reading, appreciate it.
There is definitely a turning point in the game. With this new stealth event, I'm now put in PC lobbies where I just can't compete with joy-cons. It's rough out there. Still playing every day though. I literally prestiged the battle pass just now. I'm a trendsetter like that.
I'm also on team making this a periodical thing, with events or special additions. It's fun to watch, the crew seems like they're having fun, fun stuff is happening on screen. Fun is fun!
Maybe have some (additional) guests sometimes? I'm sure Bijan would be willing to come back, they were great on that St Vincent feature. Good stuff.
I'm not gonna read all of this, because this is one game I don't want spoilers for, but I am here to say that it's cool to see this game get some appreciation. I really feel like it was passed by unfairly.
This show has gone from being incredibly infuriating, because no one was even able to play a classic like Super Mario Bros, to being my favorite show that I look forward to each week. The varied cast was both a great way to get multiple skill levels on screen, as well as a range of personalities. Don't get me wrong, I think being bad at games is fun to watch in this show, but when all four are struggling to find out that Mario can sprint, it's like pouring salt in my eyes. Anyway, just wanted to say good job on getting this show up to speed, big fan.
