Greetings Giant Bomb forum! Monster Hunter World is finally here!

A few months back I started a hype thread and a Discord channel about World. Apparently that caught the attention of quite a few folks and there's now a pretty rad community of GB fans over on discord.

I'd like to post this as a General Discussion regarding MHW here on the Giant Bomb forums and also a place that is hopefully fairly easy to advertise the Unnofficial GB Monster Hunter Community Discord Channel or (UGBMHCDC).

Just thought we could use a City Pop appreciation thread. I've been enjoying this stuff for a few years now and enjoy discovering new-old artists via YouTube. Please share your favorite City Pop jam or whatever you're currently listening to.

City Pop can be generalized as 80's J-Pop with a Big City sound.

My personal favorite J-Pop artists from the 80's are Junko Yagami and Toshiki Kadomatsu.
