@bigsocrates: Yeah, the lack of scheduling for live streams has been my biggest complaint about the site for the years that I've been a sub. I pay for premium live streams, but if I don't know when they're happening, then it's kinda a moot feature.

But, some schedule is better than none -- which is what Nextlander is currently at.

I'm sure people will come in with recommendations to use an adblocker, but I just use youtube-dl to just download the VOD directly from Twitch. Takes a bit of time/foresight, but then I have what I want without having to deal with Twitch's crappy site or any site at all!

The biggest thing that I appreciate about GB is having a site where I can just keep track of upcoming streams and general updates in one easy place. I would really rather not have to use either Discord or Twitter, and I've found Patreon to just be a sluggish website to use. Hopefully they'll iron out a regular schedule in the future and thus eliminate this gripe!

@magnetphonics: He was also covered on the site both in article form and on the podcast. See the 01-13-2009 Bombcast at 1:26:25.

Boo the user who bumped this ancient thread. GB really needs to autolock old threads.

Thanks to this thread for reminding me to check out the WRC 10 demo. I'm super excited for Horizon 5, but not really as a racing game per se. I'm just interested in exploring a virtual Mexico and enjoying the visuals.

Looked at some gameplay for "Finnegan Fox" and they really mangled the art! I also refuse to believe that they captured the gameplay directly from the Amico, but whatever.

Neat review of Fox 'N Forests!

It's super fun that they put the rendezook into the trailer, but I always found the whole "Battlefield Moments™" thing to be really hammy/desperate.

I've been perfectly content with BF3/4 (although my heart belongs to Bad Company and 2142), and I all I really need in my life is a more polished version of BF3/4. If this game turns out to be just that, then I'm happy.

I somehow stumbled across this game (Voxelgram) while browsing Steam, and after reading some of the reviews it was an instant purchase. It's 100% a Picross 3D clone with Steam Workshop support, and after a few hours it's been great. While Picross seems firmly like a handheld experience, the game has definitely helped me destress while working from home. I can just play a puzzle for a few minutes to clear my mind and get back to whatever I'm doing.

Looking around online, it seems that this game is one of only a few Picross 3D clones out there. Steam has a bunch of nonogram games, but this is the only Picross 3D game that seems remotely competent. Considering how amazing Picross 3D was, I'm surprised that there are so few knock-offs.

If you're into Picross 3D or like generally relaxing puzzle games, then I recommend this game.

Oh, if you don't know what Picross 3D is, it was Giant Bomb's winner of the 2010 DS-Only Game of the Year category.

Everything has to come to and end, but I still don't like it. For well over a decade, the "crew" has been making my days better. I still remember the Bombcast where they announced that Vinny and Brad were joining the team and Vinny joked that he didn't feel like a special announcement because they were sitting in tiny kids-sized chairs.

Very cool! The RB2 soundtrack is the best of the bunch, so it's not a surprise that Alex has completed so much of it :P

Should change the link. It's sketchy af in the current form (as a youtube redirect.) It does end at the steam page for the game, but still...
