Video games stopped being difficult years ago in almost all cases. Most are just progression machines now.

I mean dude video games are pretty messed up.... This being the big thing to suddenly notice seems a bit odd.

My preferred controller. Works great. Sometimes have to use that one program for it though. I didn't know that steam had some ps4 setting though I will have to try that out.

Conan was always my favorite. I only ever watch talk shows off and on over the years, but Conan to be has consistently been the best. Not that I always like what he does to be clear.

Final Fantasy 5. The PC version is visually kinda bad [like the tileset they remade for it doesn't actually line up so you see the individual tiles all messy, and the redone character portraits don't match what the characters look like in game at all...] but this is game still holds up better than any other old FF game gameplaywise and is the most replayable of them all as well. Story is a touch simpler than others but enjoyable.

Best part about this is this game doesn't have the problem of so many JPRGs where you are just playing a fifty hour cutscene.

I wish that the twitter things were NOT on the main page. I remember the old argument that hey just don't follow them on twitter if you don't want to see it... but it is on the main site. As I just scroll down to see some vids they are all just right there. This twitter stuff IS site content when it is so RIGHT there. At some point my eyes do scan the page and I do see it.

I will start by saying Alex is one of my favorite people on GB. I also so far am liking Ben on here too overall, and so on. However the last thing I want to do is scroll through the site and see Alex's next hateful politics rant [and these can get really disturbingly hateful... which bums me out cause Alex is such a cool dude in a lot of ways], or Ben on something similar. Sometimes Brad [who also I really DO like a lot] will occasionally have some of these and so on. This sort of stuff just shouldn't be on the site. It isn't even wise to, why alienate large portions of your customers like this?

If it wasn't on the main page of the site I would put it on me, in the "hey then just don't follow them on twitter". I did that but now when I come here I still see this stuff :/

It doesn't mean I don't like the guys but I don't want to hear a thing about their politics at all related to the site if it can be avoided. This is one of the reasons I will be honest I didn't listen to the podcasts for a while, because too much political/social stuff was injected in it for a long time. I think it is better now though :). Still great podcasts but I just don't want to hear it on a website about having fun with video games. I don't play video games to hear about this stuff I use it to escape from that stuff.

It is a bummer cause I really used to love following them on twitter but I really don't need to be lectured about politics by them just because I scrolled through the main page of their website.

I don't see a problem with them. They are normally fully optional. I don't recall any sort of classic game rerelease that required the use of save states instead of some old save/progression system it once had. The only thing with save states is you can really ruin a game for yourself if you don't have discipline with save state abuse. However that is your own choice.

I would say my complaint would be arbitrary time sinks as the bulk of content + too many games trying to have emotional impact instead of just...... focusing on trying to be generally fun.
