Project Justice

A year after the events of Rival Schools: United by Fate, Akira Kazama transferred to Seijyun Girls' High and initially found herself having trouble making friends. She eventually finds one in Yurika who quickly becomes someone she feels she can confide in. One day, Akira confesses that she senses that something is wrong with her older brother Daigo who had just returned from an extended period of training and is now acting strange. Yurika suggests the pair should investigate and attempt to enlist some help from an ex-gang leader called Zaki. After testing the pair in combat, Zaki agrees to help and the trio set off. They investigate Gedo High first but find no sign of Daigo, Edge or Gan and are instead attacked by "Batsu". After driving him off the group head to Taiyo High for answers. Batsu pleads innocent when confronted by the girls leading everyone to suspect there is an imposter running around. Yurika eventually splits off from Akira and Zaki under the guise of getting a wound taken care of. Unbeknownst to Akira and Zaki, Yurika is actually controlling a brainwashed Daigo who is leading a gang war against Seijyun. After forcing Daigo to flee, Yurika suspiciously reappears and leads the girls to confront the true mastermind behind the attacks. It is revealed that she has begrudgingly been an accomplice to her little brother's schemes to sow distrust among the schools. Yurika regrets her actions and the harm she has caused her friends and teams up with them to stop Kurow and release Daigo from his control. After stopping Kurow and a possessed Hyo Imawano, Yurika leaves Seijyun out of guilt for causing so much trouble and taking part in Kurow's plans but is shown to return and is warmly welcomed back by both Akira and Zaki.

Personality

"Melodic Young Woman"

Yurika is a well-composed and rather timid young woman who appears to struggle to do things of her own accord leading her to be unable to resist her brother's orders. She is also incredibly talented when it comes to music and is able to master many instruments especially the violin which she can play at the level of a professional.

  Yurika lives alone in the Seijyun High dorms but is neighbours with Akira.
• Aside from her musical talents, she is also a talented ballerina and fencer.
• English and Music are her strongest subjects but Art is her weakest.
• She is voice by Keiko Han.
• She attacks using the bow of her violin in a similar manner to fencing rapier.
• Yurika appears as a card in SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash 2 and Card Fighters Clash DS.
• She makes a cameo in Felicia's ending in Capcom Fighting Evolution.
• She dislikes soft-bodied animals such as squid and octopi and isn't too fond of ravens either.
