Yakuza 4
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released Mar 18, 2010
Yakuza 4 is the fourth game in Sega's crime drama series, known as 'Ryu ga Gotoku' in Japan. As a first for the series, the story is split between the viewpoints of four different protagonists.
Would you like to see a Yakuza 4 Endurance Run?
God no.
If they decide to do another Endurance Run, they should do a game that's good and/or fun to watch . Yakuza doesn't seem to be either of those things.
" I got bored and quit out of watching a 45 minute Quick Look. So no. "But wouldn't knowing that it was going somewhere make you more interested?
As lame as ER suggestion threads have become, this actually seems like a good candidate. I'd watch it if it were to happen.
I'd watch it. I can imagine them getting all tied up in the story. And it couldn't be anymore unbearable than the aimless driving in Deadly Premonition or the dungeon crawling in Persona.
On a side note it'd be super-duper awesome if one team played 3 while the other played 4.
" I got bored and quit out of watching a 45 minute Quick Look. So no. "What Sweep said. I don't usually get bored during Quick Looks either.
" @Sweep said:Agreed. It would also be interesting to see a Jeff and Ryan team like the Quick Look." I got bored and quit out of watching a 45 minute Quick Look. So no. "But wouldn't knowing that it was going somewhere make you more interested? As lame as ER suggestion threads have become, this actually seems like a good candidate. I'd watch it if it were to happen. "
I usually cringe at Endurance Run suggestion threads but this is actually a legitimate candidate. It's the right combination of a heavy emphasis on story, wacky Japanese charm, and bizarre outdated game-play from 1999. In order for an Endurance Run to work the participants must suffer for our entertainment and this game will deliver on that aspect of an Endurance Run. But I would imagine they wouldn't even consider doing it until the game has been out for some time so it sells all that it can.
Just re-watched the beginning of the Yakuza 4 QL, and they use the standard Japanese pronunciation.
YES
ive no interest in the Endurance Runs and havent watched either one, but Yakuza 4 strikes me as the kinda game i'd actually enjoy seeing the GB staff playing through
