The 10 year anniversary of the original XBox is coming up in november. Is anything planned on the site to celebrate? Some QL Throwbacks or some gaming during Happy Hour?

Yes, it's kinda shocking to see that XBox games might be considered retro.

It would be cool, although it wouldn't be that different than the live show during the ending of the original Xbox online support.

Well, yes, I'm only expressing possible doubt that they may do a large live show for it since they already covered that a while back.

I've never seen an Xbox or any of it's games, so yeah it'd be interesting if they throw an Xbox party

@Brendan: Didn't they only play multiplayer games that time? That means that they could possibly play some singleplayer games this time around.

Still, it probably won't be as long as that one. Actually I'm quite sure that won't happen. If it leads to Vinny taking out his guitar, then I'm all for it, though.

I remember receiving an original Xbox for Christmas back in 2001 with a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved like it was yesterday. These 10 years have flown by.

Considering Halo Anniversary is coming out then, I'm going to say they'll probably play that.

I remember the whole "Xbox VS. Gamecube" thing over which was the better box console or whatever.

10 years? I remember when you could said "Oh, I have that for the Xbox." and people would say "What's an Xbox?"

What's all this about the XBox? I love when people talk about the XBox. XBox this, XBox that... it gets me all hot and XBoxy.

I want to see Brute Force! That's the only Xbox game I can remember. I was 10/11 years old when it came out!

I never had an Xbox myself, but I remember when it was released. It does not feel like it was ten years ago. Sigh...

The Xbox is one of my fav consoles of all time. I really hope they do something big for it's 10 year anniversary.

Original Xbox was awesome. Had a much stronger multiplayer line up than the 360 does.

My favs: PGR2, Midtown Madness, Halo 2, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow / Chaos Theory, Ghost Recon & Island Thunder (before Ubisoft ruined the series by going third person) and Rainbow Six 3 / Black Arrow (before Ubisoft added third person cover to it, ruining the series)

PGR2 was amazing. One of the best arcade racers ever made. In fact, now that I think about it, the Xbox had a ton of great racing titles. Rallisport Challenge 2 being the best.
