Wonder Dog is a side-scrolling platformer developed by Core Design Limited and published by JVC Musical Industries (Victor Musical Industries in Japan) for the Sega CD (Platform) in Japan on September 25, 1992, in North America on December 1992, and in Europe on 1993.

Developed by the studio behind Rick Dangerous (Game), Chuck Rock (Game) and Impossamole (Game), Wonder Dog is a standard cartoonish mascot platformer whose protagonist, the titular Wonder Dog, is a canine humanoid alien from Planet K-9 who can throw stars (which becomes more effective when rapid-firing), glide with his ears, and spin to dig into terrain. The game's story involves him trying to return to his home planet after crash-landing on Earth (Location) in order to rescue his people from the invading Pit Bully armada.

The game was designed in collaboration with Victor, as they wanted a game to help sell their combined Sega Mega Drive / Mega CD variant, the Wondermega. Its mascot protagonist was chosen to be a dog after the company's original mascot (and the classic painting-turned-logo). It later received an Amiga (Platform) conversion in Europe, released by Core Design Limited in 1993.
