Willy Wombat is a overhead action-adventure platformer developed by Westone and published by Hudson for the Sega Saturn exclusively in Japan on June 27, 1997.
Featuring character design by illustrator Susumu Matsushita, Willy Wombat puts players in the role of the eponymous marsupial as he rebels his position as an enforcer of Prison in order to seek six Miracle Gems and reach his freedom in the land of Eden.
It's notable for its dialogue being in English, despite it only getting a Japanese release, and for combining a 3D-rendered world with pre-rendered cel-shaded 3D sprites.
