Overview
The Mystery of the Druids is a 2001 point-and-click adventure game for Windows, and the first game produced by German developer House of Tales. The player takes the role of Brent Halligan, a detective at Scotland Yard, who is tasked with solving the mystery behind a series of gruesome murders in London. Teaming up with a young anthropologist named Melanie Turner and a historian named Arthur Blake, Brent soon learns that the murders are connected to rituals performed by the druids of ancient Britain, and that said druids may not have entirely vanished. The game has become notorious for its box art, which depicts a CG druid with an emotionally ambiguous, yet intense, facial expression.
