Stack Gun Heroes
A fast paced first person shooter with procedural superpowers and stackable guns. Players invent guns on the fly to defend themselves from giant virus-toting robots.
Stack Gun Heroes is a horde-mode style first-person shooter featuring customizable weapons, and cooperative gameplay. Gun modifiers, missions, and superpowers are randomly generated, so the combinations are near infinite!
The core mechanic to the game is the titular Stack Gun. Players can stack up to eight different modifiers (mods) at a time. Mods have varying effects, both positive and negative. For example, a mod with an explosion effect, deals high area-of-effect damage, but consume more ammo, and reduce the player’s movement speed. The randomly generated enemies will have varying defenses, so players will need to change their stacks on the fly during missions to find what is most effective. The other core player mechanic is the player’s superpower. This is a player triggerable effect, that can assist during missions. Effects can range from boosting player health to summoning a helper robot in the middle of combat. Be warned however, superpowers require Batteries to use. No batteries, no power! The objective of missions is simple. Destroy all the enemy robots before they can carry the Virus to the player spawn and upload it.
