A spin-off of SUNSOFT's smartphone adaptation of the mahjong solitaire series Shanghai, featuring a Mexican flair and new online multiplayer.
Overview
Shanghai Amigo is a mahjong solitaire game developed and digitally published by SUNSOFT for iOS devices on December 20, 2010, with a release for Android (Platform) devices later on April 15, 2011. The iOS version was later removed from the storefront. A spin-off of the smartphone game Mahjong Shanghai (Game), Shanghai Amigo includes a new Mexican theme, 30 puzzles, and two online multiplayer modes: Gold Battle (where players race to uncover the "golden tile" underneath) and Turn Battle (where players take turns to make the most matches in each turn). Both multiplayer modes include various power-ups (activated by a "Skill Gauge") to hinder their opponents, and was later brought back into the original game.
