Sanyo Pachinko Paradise 8: Shin Umi Monogatari is the third PS2 installment of Irem's venerable pachislot simulator series. It's also the first game to feature the Pachipro Fūunroku story mode.
Overview
Sanyo Pachinko Paradise 8: Shin Umi Monogatari (commonly abbreviated to simply "PachiPara 8") is the eighth numbered installment in Irem's long-running line of pachislot simulator's based on Sanyo's Umi Monogatari line of machines. Unlike most other entries in the series, only one machine is simulated, specifically the CR Shin Umi Monogatari M27. The third PS2 entry in the series, the game also has the special distinction of being the first to feature the Pachipro Fūunroku, a story mode with light RPG elements that's designed to appeal to players who might not otherwise be interested in playing the game purely on its simulation merits.
