The first episode in the Raider series by Fig Hunter. A retro-style action platformer game.
Overview
Arkus Zei
Arkus Zei, a Cyrian space pirate and all-round treasure hunter, salvaging wrecks and dead spaceships to make a living. The game starts off with Arkus finding such a wreck, and investigating for what at first seems like a routine operation.
Raider: Episode 1 offers a difficult platforming challenge akin to platformers of the NES era. It sports simple and straightforward gameplay, the difficulty lying in the level design rather than a learning curve - there are no power-ups or upgrades. The player only has 2 weapon options available from the start: a blade for close-ranged combat and a blaster pistol.
Levels also contain hidden "Relics", which, if found, increase the performance rank once the level is completed.
