Nostalgia
GAME » on March 1, 2017
A successor to Konami's earlier Keyboardmania series of arcade rhythm games, featuring classical music on a light-up touch-sensitive piano-based controller.

Overview

Nostalgia (not to be confused with the 2006 Nintendo DS RPG of the same name) is a rhythm-based game developed and published by Konami (Company) for arcades exclusively in Japan on March 1, 2017. It is part of the extensive Bemani (Franchise) series of Konami rhythm games and is seen as the spiritual successor to the Keyboardmania (Franchise) series. Unlike Keyboardmania, where the game uses a realistic keyboard controller, Nostalgia uses a flat touch-sensitive piano-style controller that lights up when pressed. It was mainly sold as an upgrade kit for the then-discontinued arcade game BeatStream (Game). The game later received two revisions: Nostalgia ƒORTE on July 19, 2017 and Nostalgia Op.2 on September 26, 2018. Both revisions add new gameplay elements and modes.
