Overview
Japanese Rail Sim 3D: Journey in Suburbs #2 (known in Japan as Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi: Kashima Rinkai Tetsudou-hen, which loosely translates to "Railway Japan! Route Trip: Kashima Rinkai Railway Edition") is a train driving simulation game developed and published by Sonic Powered for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on August 21, 2014 (as a retail release) and in North America on March 16, 2017 (as a downloadable title). The second title in the Japanese Rail Sim 3D / Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi series (and the sequel to Journey in Suburbs #1), Journey in Suburbs #2 follows the entire Kashima Rinkai Railway passenger line (the Ōarai Kashima Line) in the Japanese Ibaraki Prefecture (from Mito Station in Mito to Kashima-Jingū Station in Kashima) on a 6000-series diesel train.
