Freedom Fighter is a sci-fi full-motion video fixed-gun shooter developed and released by Millennium Game Products for arcades in 1987.

Similar to Cliff Hanger (Game), Freedom Fighter is a LaserDisc (Concept)-based game using footage from a previously-released animated feature film (with this game being based on the animated films Galaxy Express 999 and Adieu, Galaxy Express 999).

As Earth (Location) is under attack from the cybernetic forces of the Guardian, players control a young rebel who must navigate a besieged city to reach and stow aboard Train 999, which is en route to the evil Guardian's home base, and destroy him.

Along with being a light-gun game (rather than relying on joystick and button presses for action), the game differs to other similar LaserDisc-based games through its use of random scene progression (in which certain scenes reduce memorization by having the game reveal threats at random), non-linear game progression (in which players can choose their path throughout the city), and "overscan technology" (where players can look left and right at certain scenes by twisting the joystick).

It later received a home conversion in 1992 by Fathom Pictures and Philips Interactive Media, where it is re-titled to Escape from CyberCity.
