Floatmotion is developed by NB Game Development and was released on the 18th June 2015 in the Leap Motion App Store and a month later in other online stores. In Floatmotion the player hast to float through space without hitting the cubes. There are different items and over 10 random generated levels. The aim is to finish the game as fast as possible and to break the current Floatmotion speedrun world record.
Floatmotion can be played in three different ways. The most common is the mouse mode. The further the mouse is away form the origin the faster the sphere moves in this direction. The scrolling wheal is for Z-moving. If a Leap Motion Device is connected to the PC the game will automatically change in the Leap Motion mode. This is also an origin based control system only in 3D. It’s also possible to switch with q into the keyboard mode where the sphere can be controlled with a,s,d and w or j,i,l,k,o and p were o and p are used for Z-movement. If the mouse is kicked it switches temporary to mouse mode.

There are official cheats the player can use by playing the game:
The game is published under the GNU Affero General Public License Version 3 so it is open source. If the user opens the game, a C++ launcher opens Portable Python 2.7 which interprets the source code and not a pre compiled pyc file. So it is easy to modify the game. It is also allowed to public a modified version of it but it still has to be open source. The game is using a python game engine based on glLib 1.4 from Ian Mallett modified for Floatmotion. The game engine is using primary PyOpenGL and Pygame to render the graphic.
