A puzzle-platformer by the popular browser game developer Nitrome, starring two thieving ducks on the hunt for treasure in a dungeon.

The magic ladder in action
Flightless is a puzzle/platformer developed and published by Nitrome (Company) for PC (Platform) and Mac (Platform). It will release first on Steam (Concept), having passed the service's Greenlight process, but other services may follow.
The game stars two ducks whose wings have been clipped as a punishment for stealing, rendering them unable to fly or even jump. They must now venture into dungeons and collect gems to pay off their debt to society. Luckily, they are each equipped with a magic ladder that can be placed anywhere, stretching indefinitely until it hits a ceiling, platform, or other surface; along the way, it collects gems, destroys weak blocks, and squishes enemies. Certain points in the world also curve the ladder when it touches them.
Two players can control the two ducks, but the entire game can also be played in single-player, and the co-op uses a drop-in drop-out system to allow switching on the fly.
