Crashlanded on an alien planet the player has to find a way back home in this procedurally-generated sci-fi sandbox voxel RPG.
Overview
Exotic Matter is a single-player sandbox voxel RPG with rougelike elements. It has been in development by Moebiusgames since 2011 and features a fully procedurally-generated planet, a strong storyline and rougelike alien facilities.
Exotic Matter is also an engine for voxel games and therefore allows for heavy modding.
Story
Planet Xcylin
The story revolves around a nameless crew member of the GSCS Criterion that awakes from cryosleep after the ship has crashlanded on an alien planet. Recovering from partial memory loss it soon becomes clear to the crew member that the Criterion's mission is imperative for mankind's survival.
