A Japanese-only 3DO game based on the classic cartoon Wacky Races.

Overview

Chiki Chiki Machine Mou Race 2: In Space is a combination point-and-click adventure and racing game developed and published by Future Pirates, Inc. for the 3DO exclusively in Japan on August 11, 1995. The sequel to the studio's earlier adaptation of the Hanna-Barbera 1960's cartoon Wacky Races, In Space returns players to the T-Born Wrex as they venture out throughout the galaxy to rescue Penelope Pitstop (Character) (Milk-chan) from the scheming duo Dick Dastardly & Muttley (Black Maou & Kenken). Unlike the previous game, there is no "Races TV" segment and players proceed through the main adventure from the start. Along with point-and-click adventure segments, the game features third-person racing segments (with players racing as one of several machines from the series), along with bonus segments near the end (including a on-rails space shooter and a 2D fighter).
