Overview
Anonymous;Code is a "meta science adventure" game developed by MAGES and Chiyomaru Studio that stars a hacker in the year 2037 that has the ability to move between different "world layers" within a virtual Earth that humanity now lives in. The game was infamous for being delayed countless times, first being announced in March 2015 before it finally made it to market over 7 years later on July 28, 2022. Initially, Anonymous;Code, along with Occultic;Nine, were meant to be entries in a new franchise known as the Science Visual Novel (Franchise) series. That idea was eventually scrapped and both games were adopted into the company's popular Science Adventure (Franchise) series.
