The iconic Flying Toaster, now in its own game!

After Dark Games is a mini-game collection developed by Berkeley Systems (Company) and published by Sierra (Company) for Windows PC and Macintosh computers in 1998.

Based on the studio's long-running After Dark series of screensaver software, After Dark Games features 11 different casual mini-games, most of which are based on particular screensaver modules (including "Bad Dog", "Mowin' Man", and the iconic "Flying Toaster").

Game List

Hula Girl - A vertical-scrolling platformer where, as the titular hula-hooping Hula Girl, you try to stay on the screen as platforms ("blocks") rise from the bottom and exit at the top, while collecting extra lives ("hoops") and keeping the "yuckometer" green (by collecting sweets and avoiding vegetables and other yucky things). Based on the Hula Twins module.
Fish Shtick - A typing-based game set underwater, where you have a limited amount of time to figure out which words to type based on swimming fish (each of which have a letter). Based on the Fish module series.
Roof Rats - A variation of the SameGame (Concept) genre of puzzle games where you clear groups of two-or-more same-colored rooms in a building in order to have characters on the roof drop down onto the ground (with different characters able to drop from different heights).
Solitaire - A simple version of Klondike card solitaire, with card art based on the series' characters.
Roger Dodger - A maze game where, as a glowing orb, you collect green circles and reach the flashing exit while avoiding a variety of enemies (sometimes making use of rotating doors.
Zapper - A simple timed trivia game with "yes or no" answers and point bonuses for consecutive right answers.
Mowin' Maniac - A maze game where you ride a lawnmower through each part of a lawn while avoiding groundskeepers, dogs, and other pursuers, collecting gas cans as a temporary power-up. Certain walls and objects can be mowed through at a slower pace. Based on the Mowin' Man module.
Bad Dog 911 - A variation of the word game Boggle (Franchise), where you have a limited amount of time to figure out words based on a group of six random letters, in order to rescue a man dangling from a clock tower. Based on the Bad Dog module.
Toaster Run - An isometric game where you flap a winged toaster through rooms in a house, collecting toys while avoiding obstacles. Based on the Flying Toasters module series.
Foggy Boxes - A simple version of the two-player dots and boxes game against a CPU opponent, being played on a fogged-up glass pane.
MooShu - A simple version of mahjong solitaire with tile art based on the series' characters.
