Acid Spy is a first person stealth action game. The premise is to infiltrate enemy bases and take out all guards. The player is an acid spy equipped with a silenced pistol and knife. The enemies are armed with laser rifles that kill in one shot. Players are able to walljump to attack from above and slide to sneak up on enemies. The movement mechanics are also tested during some parkour sections. The game features a synthwave soundtrack from Wolf and Raven.
