Detective Sudoku (Game)
Detective Sudoku is a murder-mystery logic puzzle for iPhone. Each case presents a room-based grid where every row and column holds exactly one suspect, and every character supplies a clue that must be satisfied. Once all suspects are placed correctly, the person left alone with the victim is identified as the culprit.
The design draws on classic sudoku's row-and-column constraints and on logic-grid deduction puzzles, but replaces numbers with characters and arithmetic with spatial relationships involving rooms, walls, directions and furniture. Every case is verified to have exactly one solution and a path to it that never requires guessing.
The launch build contains over 100 levels plus a new daily challenge each day. A hint system names the relevant clue and explains the next valid deduction rather than filling in an answer, with a separate reveal available for players who want stronger help. The game runs fully offline with no advertising and no user accounts, is a free download with optional consumable hint and reveal packs, and is localized in 23 languages. It requires iOS 17 or later.
