Overview
Released in 1987 for the Sega Master System (Platform), these 3D glasses use a shutter system to give a 3D effect. The shutter system allows for full color, but forces the frame rate to run at 50% (usually 30 frames per second). The glasses are only compatible with the first iteration of the Master System, because they hook up to the card port which is not present in later versions of the system. In Japan (Location), the glasses came bundled with Zaxxon 3D.
