Thoughts On The Nintendo Switch.

For the last year to eighteen months, I have been debating if I should get a 3DS or not. There are some great games on it that I would love to check out, but I already have an iPad and a PS Vita so I always felt my handheld needs were taken care of.

When I took out a loan last November to update my car (nearly wrote upgrade there) I had a small chunk of change left over and the whole 3DS debate came up again, but this time I knew that Nintendo had the Switch event coming up. I really liked the first video they showed and the whole hybrid console is pretty interesting.

I just like the idea that I can be playing Zelda and pick up the tablet section and keep playing away if I decide to go to another room or want to play it in bed. I don't ever see myself going out and about with it, just seems like a crime in the making.

I put my pre-order down for the Switch today, along with Zelda and the Pro Controller. I still plan to keep my PS4 as my main console and use the Switch purely for Nintendo first party games and Switch exclusive third party games.
