My Gaming Week: 14th April 2013
Well seeing as this Lamp blog is starting to look a little bit barren (I mean the Awkward Photo Thursday has been discontinued) I thought that I would do a weekly feature. About Video Games. I know creative. This week has been a mixed bag for me really. In hindsight I could of played more, but hey what can you do. This week has been a mixed bag for me really. In hindsight I could of played more, but hey what can you do. My 3DS has been with me wherever I have been going on my travels since the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 (My first physical 3DS game purchase since buying the thing back in December). It is a good game to travel with although the mission structure does not really make it playable in short bursts, in my experience they take around 30 minutes to complete and if you fail you go straight back to the beginning, not even a mid level checkpoint!
On my Playstation 3 there has been Joe Danger 2 which is a mighty fine game which I would recommend to anyone who needs to waste a few minutes. Also I have been playing Syndicate which has not really grabbed me, after two hours of the single player, hopefully it starts to pick up or maybe after playing Bioshock Infinite everything else seems average.
Finally on my iPhone I have been playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out. I hate farmville like games, but Tapped Out is easy just to tap a few things every now and then and leave it running. If it was not for The Simpsons characters and setting I would not be interested in this at all. Also note I am not wasting any of my money on micro-transactions.
