Shadow of Mordor creeped into my Fall List at the last minute, and I'm glad it did. :) My Week in Gaming 9/29-10/5 Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor I'm really loving Shadow of Mordor. I've put many hours in, just trying to level-up my character. My one complaint about the game is that it really makes me believe I'm underpowered. Some of the captains are so difficult, especially with other enemies...

My Week in Gaming 9/29-10/5
I'm really loving Shadow of Mordor. I've put many hours in, just trying to level-up my character. My one complaint about the game is that it really makes me believe I'm underpowered. Some of the captains are so difficult, especially with other enemies around, that I'm often afraid to confront them. Instead, I've spent as little time as possible fighting them and, instead, just doing all the other side-quests to get stronger. I think I've died three times, and though I know that's part of the game, it frustrates me every time, and it makes me think I just need to level up more before event trying to fight any captains, or, especially War Chiefs (which is the next main mission I'm on). It's all still fun, though, so I'm not really complaining. :)
I have only spent a couple more hours with Wasteland 2. It just hasn't grabbed me the way Wolfenstein and Shadow of Mordor has. I hope I can finish Wasteland 2 before Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out, though, because DAI will definitely take priority... I hate having so many RPG's started and not finished... I still have to finish Fallout: New Vegas and Bravely Default...
I wrapped up New Order and really appreciate the ending. Despite being a silly action game at many points, the characters felt real a lot of the time, and the ending was able to resonate with me despite the crazy boss battle. I really hope a sequel comes out for this game. I'll be all over it!
