Games I Played Last Week 8/11 to 8/17

I've had a very busy couple weeks. So, I'm behind on these blog entries. However, I want to keep each week separate, so I'll be posting a couple weeks back to back today, in different entries...

My Week in Gaming 8/11-8/17

Batman: Arkham Origins

I wrapped up my time with Arkham Origins this week with the Cold, Cold Heart DLC. I had a lot of fun with Origins, even more than Arkham City. Even though it was the third very similar Batman game I'd played in a couple years, I just enjoyed the city and environments in Origins more than City.

Cold, Cold Heart was a welcomed way to get back into that world. For the most part, I enjoyed my time with this DLC. It is only a few hours long, but there are new environments and enemies that make it a worthwhile play, in my opinion. I was not a fan of the final boss battle. However, I am glad I played it and feel good wrapping up Origins in this way.

I'm also personally glad that Arkham Knight was pushed back to next year. I need a little longer of a break before going back to another Batman game. That being said, I think I'll be ready to play it, just based on my positive experience with Origins, the time between Origins and Knight, and all the trailers and previews for Knight that shows how gorgeous and exciting it looks.
